Arising//Passing 2018

A moving soundscape. A structured improvisation and physical conversation between a dancer and a musician.

In Arising//Passing Victoria McConnell and musician Joshua Tennent create a duet as an evolution of conversation: music and movements ebb and flow, each overlapping the other to create new forms. Through observing their individual instincts to make movement or sound and their natural reactions to input, McConnell and Tennent search for ways to fold together their mediums creating a new atmosphere, a moving soundscape.
